Hope- The Volley Saints hosted a familiar foe in Gospel Light, as they have had some battles in recent years, but on Friday it was all Gospel Light as they won in straight sets 25-19, 25-19, 24-22. GMCS had a lot of good runs throughout the night, but never could get over the hump. Silbi Jones played an excellent game on Friday night and Baylee Pogue had some very impressive runs throughout the game. Jones filled up the stat sheet with 8 kills, 7 aces, and 2 blocks, as she was great around the net. Baylee Pogue had 4 aces and 2 kills. Gracy Martin piled up 6 kills, 2 aces, and 1 dig. Savannah Fields had 2 kills and 1 ace, Brailyn Almand 2 digs, and Katie Holland 1 kill. The Volley Saints are back in action on Monday as they travel to Trinity Christian for a match with the Lady Warriors.Â
