Hope- The Lady Saints hosted Saline Co. on Thursday night as they were in search of their second win of the week and they found it in the form of a straight-set dominating performance. GMCS won the match 25-12, 25-17, 25-12. Silbi Jones led the attack at the net with a game-high 8 kills, Jones also was impressive at the service line with 6 aces. Gracy Martin and Baylee Pogue each had great games for GMCS as they both piled up 7 aces, 4 kills and 2 digs each. SWARK.Today Player of the Week Heaven Garcia had a team-high 7 digs for the Volley Saints. Addy Peek had 4 digs, Kynlee Glass had 3 digs, and Katie Holland had 2 digs. Peek added 1 ace as well. Savannah Fields had a team-high 8 aces and 1 kill and 1 dig, as she continues to impress especially from the service line. Laila Santifer had 1 kill and Brailyn Almand had 2 digs and 1 ace.
The Volley Saints are back in action on Friday as they travel to Hot Springs Village for a match with CMA.
In the JV game, the Saints completed the 3-game sweep of Saline Co. with another straight set win of 25-14, 25-13. Brailyn Almand led the way with 4 aces, 1 kill, and 2 digs. Savannah Fields had 3 aces and 2 digs, Natalee Chunn added 3 digs and 2 aces. Raylee Adkison had a good game with 2 aces and 2 digs, and is very active at the net, so look for some blocks and her defensive presence to really come into play the rest of the year. Kyle Bullock had a great game with 2 aces, 1 kill, and 1 dig. Miley Loe had 3 digs and Madison Faulkner had 1 ace as they both played very well on Thursday.
