Spring Hill played very well the opening set and took a 1-0 lead heading into the 2nd set, but the Lady Saints played the last three sets with some fire, and took the win.
Silbi Jones was on fire Tuesday, as she finished the night with 24 aces and 10 kills, while adding a pair of blocks. Addy Peek had 7 aces, 2 kills, and 2 digs, as she has been playing at a high level as of late. Zoe Robertson and Baylee Pogue each added 3 kills, with Pogue finishing the game with a pair of digs and 1 ace. Heaven Garcia led GMCS with 5 digs. Kynlee and Blayklee Glass each had a kill for the Lady Saints with Blayklee adding 2 digs. Lexi Crane, Katie Holland, and Brailyn Almand each had 2 digs. Lexi and Brailyn each added a kill and Katie had an ace. Kylie Bullock added 2 digs and Mattie Rogers finished the game with 1 ace.
Spring Hill played very well, especially early on in the match, as the program continues to grow and build up some momentum, heading in the right direction.
In the Jr. game, GMCS won in straight sets 25-22 and 25-6. Gracie Bullock (10) and Josie Pinner (9) combined for 19 aces, as they were unstoppable at the service line. Bullock added 4 kills and Pinner added two kills. Brooklynn Robertson had 3 kills and Payton Anderson added 2 kills. Lainee Almand had 1 kill and 2 digs, while Anna Bullock had 2 digs, and Mattie Rogers had an ace.
