Walmart awards grant to Hamilton Haven

PRESS RELEASE

PRESCOTT — The Hope Walmart has awarded Hamilton Haven $1,000 through the Walmart
Community Grant Program.

The Walmart Community Grant Program provides grants to support the unique needs of local
communities in the service areas of Walmart and Sam’s Club stores.

“Our hope is to remain present in the community,” said Hamilton Haven Executive Director
Michele Hamilton Rhodes. “We are appreciative of Walmart as they partner with us to meet the
housing needs of families. Our team has a strong foundation in serving.”

Hamilton Haven opened in April 2020 and provides temporary, emergency housing for those
displaced due to fire, flood, or other natural disasters.

“This is the third consecutive year the Hope location has approved us for a grant,” said Public
Relations Coordinator Nathan Tidwell. “This is an expression of belief in our project and what
Hamilton Haven is doing for the community.”

Hamilton Haven is a 501(c)(3) organization and designated as a public charity by the Internal
Revenue Service. Contributions are tax deductible. Anyone interested in contributing,
