Walsh to NBA Without Hiring Agent

FAYETTEVILLE -- Freshman Jordan Walsh has entered the 2023 NBA Draft according to various reports, but will also keep open the option of returning to Arkansas.

Walsh, 6-7, 205, played in 36 games for the Hogs averaging 24.4 minutes each outing. Walsh averaged 7.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 0.9 assist, 1.1 steals and 0.5 blocks each game. He shot 43.3% from the field, 71.2% from the free throw line and 27.8% from behind the 3-point line.

Walsh joins guard Davonte "Devo" Davis in entering the draft with the option to return. Nick Smith Jr., Ricky Council IV and Anthony Black have entered and will stay in the draft.

The latest ESPN mock draft has Black going No. 8 to the Washington Wizards, Smith to Oklahoma City Thunder at 12, Council to Charlotte Hornets in Round 2 No. 42-overall and Walsh to the Phoenix Suns at No. 52.
