In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to promote prevention and awareness, these women from your community have agreed to share the stories of their survival after battling breast cancer. As of January 2021, there are more than 3.8 million women with a history of breast cancer in the U.S. This includes women currently being treated and women who have finished treatment.* This week you will hear from women you know: your friends, sisters, wives, daughters, and mothers.
