The City of Hope Animal Shelter and Hope for Paws have partnered to bring the Watermelon Dog Show to this
year’s Watermelon Festival. The Dog Show will be held Thursday, August 10 at 7:00 p.m. on the Cricket
Wireless Stage with registration beginning at 6:30pm.

K.D. Hicks, Hope Animal Control Officer stated “The Hope Animal Shelter and Hope for Paws is so excited to welcome all people and pooches to this year’s Hope Watermelon Dog Show. This is a free entry event but dog food donations for the animal shelter and the rescue are welcome. We can’t wait to see all of your beautiful, unique, and adorable pooches. We thank you all for making this event happen.”

The categories include Best Costume, Best Trick, Best Looking Adult, Best Looking Puppy, and Best Overall.
