Alert: WINTER STORM WARNING ISSUED JANUARY 8 AT 3:52AM CST UNTIL JANUARY 10 AT 12:00PM CST * WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snowaccumulations between 2 and 6 inches, with locally higher amounts, and ice accumulations up to one half of an inch, are expected. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Arkansas,
southeast Oklahoma, and northeast Texas. * WHEN...From 6 AM Thursday to noon CST Friday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
