Wolves Get Road Win Over Genoa Central on Thursday in a Tough, Physical Game
Genoa- In the final game on the slate of a 3-game night between Prescott and Genoa Central, the Sr. High boys game did not disappoint, as both teams played extremely well. In a back and forth game, the Wolves got out in transition late, and edged away late in the fourth quarter, with D'Wayne White putting a stamp on the game with a slam on a fastbreak to give Prescott a 69-58 win over Genoa Central. The game was a real physical one, as both teams crashed the boards, played tough defense, and saw players flying all over the floor.  

After the game, D'Wayne White spoke on the Wolves win over the Dragons, "Me and my team we came along as the game went on, after halftime we came out on it hard, we're trying to win conference man."

Four Wolves were in double-figures on Thursday night, including DeCari Prater who led the game with 27 points, including 11 in the 3rd quarter, as he really did a great job of keeping the Wolves going at times. Marketric Mixon poured in 13 points and crashed the boards great. D'Wayne White and Jay Monk each scored 11 points and both got some big buckets late in the game. Michael Brownlee played a great all around game and finished with 4 points. 

Three Dragons finished the game in double-figures as Braxton Robertson led the way as he torched the nets for 17 points. Robertson also added 3 assists. Peyton Hicks poured in 14 points, including a slam in the 2nd half, he grabbed 9 boards, and had 4 blocks. Jaxon Muhl scored 11 points and Brayden Cobb had 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Austin Pell chipped in 2 points and added 6 rebounds.
