This week’s Chamber of Commerce Community Coffee was hosted by Banner Hope Center. Founded in 2018, Banner Hope is a faith-based program for juveniles suffering from drug addiction in Hempstead and Nevada Counties. Under the leadership of Director Eric Turner, Daniel Bramlett, Rusty Beck, Val Knight and Steven Mullins, the center has quickly grown from only 1 summer camp in July 2018, to an after school program in August and 2 summer camps in 2019.
During the Coffee, Turner talked about the services offered at Banner Hope and commented on the lives that have been changed for those that have participated in the program.
Banner Hope, located at 235 Smith Road in Hope, is 100% funded and supported by private donations from churches, businesses and individuals. If you would like to know more about Banner Hope, please call Eric at 870-777-5757.
