Baptist Health Receives Donation of Clinic Building from Dr. Vermont in Prescott
In light of the holiday season, a special day in Prescott occurred this month and many people came out to watch. Dr. Vermont, long time doctor to many Prescott citizens, donated his clinic building to Baptist Health after being in business with them for around 5 years, hoping to insure quality health care for the city and its many years to come.
Baptist Health Representative, Doug Weeks was very humbled by Vermont’s donation and thanked him for the 31 years he has served the community and his patients and asked that everyone share some kind words about Dr. Vermont from their own experiences.
Many citizens that attended the event shared memories about Dr. Vermont and his practice. “You have wonderfully served so many families throughout your years and we thank you for your dedication to this town and it’s members.”
“I have been with Dr. Vermont for 22 years. He and his wife Ann feel like family to me,” said his long time nurse and friend Melissa Freeman.
Dr. Vermont thanked everyone for coming out and signed the donation letter for the public to witness, wishing everyone the best and reminding them that this does not mean he is retiring. He will continue to work part-time and still see his many wonderful patients.
