BHE Book Club

Beryl Henry Elementary School students recently organized the Beryl Henry Elementary School Book Club to encourage reading and literary discussion in a safe, fun and creative manner. Sponsor Sondra Rhone said the group plans to meet monthly and will pursue literacy improvement supported by Grade 6 ELA Common Core standards. Club members include, left to right, Jaleia Johnson, Nakiya Prevo, Sa’miya Monk, Keona Brown, Prayers Carrigan, Skylar Cheatham, Kenlie Toney, Aria Grigsby, A’mauria Neal, and, front, Brylin Linzy.
