FAYETTEVILLE — Forward Trevon Brazile will return for his second season at Arkansas.
The 6-foot-10, 212-pound forward announced on Twitter he’s returning.
“I’M BACK,” Brazile announced Thursday.
Brazile appeared in the team’s first eight contests before suffering a season-ending knee injury in the early stages of the UNC-Greensboro matchup in early December.
In his nine games, Brazile played an average of 27.1 minutes per game. He averaged 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 1.0 steal and 1.2 blocks per game.
Brazile transferred to Arkansas from Missouri prior to last season. At Missouri in 2021-22 as a freshman from Springfield (Mo.) Kickapoo, Brazile played in 24 games with 22 starts and led the Tigers in blocked shots 20 times. He averaged 6.3 points and 5.0 rebounds and ranked third in the SEC (47th in the NCAA) in blocked shots (1.92 avg). Among NCAA Division I freshmen, ranked sixth in blocked shots average.
