Governor Asa Hutchinson proclaimed October 14-18 as Chamber of Commerce week in Arkansas and our local Chamber of Commerce planned a week of celebration for the chamber and board members.

Mayor Steve Montogomery kicked the week off at 9:30 Monday morning, signing a proclamation in recognition of Chamber of Commerce Week with several board members in attendance. On Wednesday, the Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce hosted the community coffee to thank all of their Chamber members for their support.

Chamber Board members and Chamber Director, Beckie Moore, wanted to utilize this week as an opportunity to thank all of the members for their support of the chamber, “The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce joins the AR State Chamber as well as local chambers throughout the state in celebrating Chamber of Commerce Week.   Although the focus is on the chamber, we are taking this time to thank our members.   It is because of our members that we endeavor to strengthen our membership benefits. We are grateful for membership support & partnership opportunities that allow us to serve others for the betterment of Hope & Hempstead County.  If you have questions pertaining to chamber service, please do not hesitate to call 870.777.3640 or email hopemelonfest@yahoo.com,” said Moore.
