DECEMBER EVENTS:

December 2nd – Downtown Christmas Parade

6:00 PM – Parade route: Line up and start at Brazzel-Oakcrest–down Main Street–Left on 2nd-Right on Elm-Right on Division-Right on Walnut & disband at FBC Parking Lot.

December 2nd – Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting

Following the Parade at the visitor center beside Tailgater’s Burger Company – 100 E. Division St.

December 2nd – Santa & United Methodist Church Handbell Choir

Following the Christmas tree lighting at Tailgater’s Burger Company – 101 S. Main St.

December 2nd – Old Fashion Community Christmas Carol

 8:00 PM at Downtown City Hall in Historic Paul W. Klipsch Auditorium. Hosted by Garrett Memorial Baptist Church & Klipsch Museum of Audio History. Admission is free.

December 4th Annual Christmas Community Coffee – Hosted by Hempstead County Courthouse

9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the courthouse (400 S. Washington Street).

December 5th, 6th, & 7th   – 70th Annual Hope Annual Lions Club Auction

5:30 PM – Hope Fair Park Coliseum.

December 7th – Breakfast with Santa

9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the parking lot beside the Train Depot. If raining it will be moved to The Tailgater’s Burger Company – 101 S. Main St.

December 8th – Cookies with Santa

1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Martin’s – 914 North Hervey. Hosted by Martin’s & The Call.

December 11th Annual Christmas Community Coffee – Hosted by Farmers Bank & Trust

9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the bank (201 E. Third St.).

December 11th – Cookies & Hot Chocolate with Santa Hosted by Farmers Bank & Trust

3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the bank (201 E. Third St.).

December 17th Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting for Christus Trinity Medical Clinic

10:00 AM (805 Trinity Drive, down the road from Chicken Express).

December 18th Annual Christmas Community Coffee – Hosted by Lance and Associates Real Estate

9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Lance and Associates (411 W. Ave C).

December 24th, 25th, & 26th – Chamber Office Closed
