Chamber, Quapaw House team up for Wednesday coffee

Quapaw House, Inc., a Hot Springs-based substance-abuse rehabilitation and behavioral health facility, which now has an outpatient facility in Hope located at 802 E. 3rd Street (contact at 501-255-0384) teamed up with the Hope/Hempstead Chamber of Commerce for the weekly community coffee at the Chamber office in downtown Hope on Wednesday morning.
As steady inflow of visitors showed up Wednesday as well as several Chamber board members in front of the January Chamber board meeting that was held afterwards during the lunch hour.
Attending the Chamber board meeting, presided over by 2019 President Clay Lance, were immediate past president Rodney Orr, Christy Burns, Anna Powell, Steven Mullins, and Jacob Jones.
(Editor’s note: Rick Kennedy, who serves as SWARK Today’s managing editor, was also present at the Chamber board meeting on Wednesday afternoon in his capacity as a board member. Kennedy is in the final year of a three-year term that ends in January 2020.)

A steady flow of folks visited the Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday morning.
