CHRISTUS St. Michael names Wright as new VP Operations

Jennifer Wright has been named Vice President of Operations for CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System, effective Feb. 3, 2019.
Wright has been serving as Interim VP-Operations since September of 2018 while also managing the responsibilities of her role as Vice President-Human Resources for CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System.
“In her new role, Jennifer will provide direction for the ancillary services and operations with administrative responsibility for the Laboratory, Imaging, Pharmacy, Respiratory, Oncology, and Physical Medicine Service Lines,” said Jason Rounds, President, CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System. “She is a proven leader who is committed to the mission of our health care ministry. We are excited to have her in this position and look forward to many years of continued growth and service in this community with her leadership.”
Wright joined the CHRISTUS St. Michael Family in March 2005 as a Physician Liaison and has since served as Central Scheduling/Patient Access Manager, Organizational Effectiveness Manager and then Competency and Performance Management Director for CHRISTUS Health before being named VP-Human Resources in November 2015.
A graduate of Texas A&M University-College Station, Wright also holds a Master of Science in Adult Education with specialization in business from Texas A&M University – Texarkana. A lifelong resident of Texarkana, she and her husband, Jeff, have one son, Kason, aged 15.
CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System is nestled within over 128 acres of oak, pine, and dogwood trees along Interstate 30 in Texarkana, Texas. Its central location in Northeast Texas allows CHRISTUS St. Michael to serve residents of Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.
