Daughters of the American Revolution Host Prescott Community Coffee

The Nevada County Arkansas Chapter of DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) hosted Prescott’s Chamber of Commerce Community Coffee today in honor of America and the Constitution.

The Daughters of the American Revolution is a women’s nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer service organization that is dedicated to promoting youth education, patriotism, and american historic preservation. Chapter Regent, Naomi Butler, shared information on upcoming programs they are working on for youth education. “We are thankful for everyone who came to our coffee,” said Butler.

The DAR served a selection of appetizers, desserts and punch, also offering brochure copies of The Constitution to all visitors. They encourage anyone interested in joining their organization, to learn more by clicking HERE to join.
