Elizabeth Maxine Lively, age 85 went to be with our Heavenly Father, her angels, and her family and friends who went before her on Wednesday, August 14, 2019.
Maxine was born on January 4, 1934, in Hope, Arkansas to John and Georgia Pricilla Hancock. Maxine lost both parents when she was just a child, so she and her brother Johnny Doyle, moved in with her mother’s sister, Lee, and her husband Willie Anderson of Hope, Arkansas, where they grew up as part of Aunt Lee and Uncle Willie’s family.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Willie “Bill” Lively, her parents, her brother, Johnny Doyle Hancock of Sonoma, California, her uncle Willie and Aunt Lee Anderson of Hope, AR; her cousins who were like brothers, Willie “Junior” Anderson of Houston, TX; Elmer Anderson, Elvin Anderson, and Murlen Anderson, all of Hope, Arkansas.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra “Sandee” Lively of Texarkana; her son Steven Lively (wife Julie) of Cross Roads; two grandsons, Will Lively (wife Jenny) of Hot Springs, AR, Clinton Lively (wife Melanie) of Cross Roads, AR, and a great granddaughter, Tula Maxine Lively of Hot Springs, AR; cousin, John Alvin Anderson of Hope, AR; along with numerous other relatives and many friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to three special caregivers in Mrs. Maxine’s life; Shelonda Stephens, Angela Chadwick, and Wendy Cox.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, August 16, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main Street Hope, Arkansas 71801.
Funeral Service will be 10:00am, Saturday, August 17, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest with Bro. Charles Jones officiating. Burial to follow at Columbus Cemetery. Arrangements are with BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director. Online registry: www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com
