HAPS names honor roll students

HOPE – Honor roll students for the first nine week grading period at Hope Academy of Public Service have been announced for the grades 5-8 campus.

Students will all “A” grades included Juan Arroyo, Kara Bowden, Jordan-Michael Brooks, Corinthian Zaire, Jena Brown, Kaden Brown, Dayanahri Cisneros, Maci Clark, Destinee Dickson, Edith Dominguez, Sandra Easterling, Aubrey Hart, Trenton Hart, Tara Henry, Jessie Hernandez, and Dylan Johnson.

Also, Brianna Maclaughlin, Lydia Martin, Jose Martinez, Ke’untae McDonald, Priscila Moreno, Rosa Paredes, Payton Rhodes, Brayden Russell, Khaleb Salazar, Jair Salgado, Alexis Smith, Wynter Smith, Angelica Soto, Angelina Soto, Patrick Stovall, Kayleigh Williams, Kayla Wyatt, and Axel Yhoss.

Bus Safety Drill

Veterans Parade

The Hope High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps unit presents the colors to start the first annual Hope Veterans Day Parade which was rescheduled from Nov. 11 to Nov. 14 because of inclement weather. Although brief, the parade initiated what is expected to become a new and growing tradition in Hope, according to organizers. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
