Hempstead County Fair Hosts Community Coffee

Today’s Chamber of Commerce Community Coffee was hosted by the Hempstead County Fair. Members from the Spring Hill FFA, Hope High School FFA, the Hempstead County 4H Club, and their advisers were present to greet guests. Their coffee kicked off the beginning of the Hempstead County Fair, which is happening this week, ending with the premium sale on Friday at 12:30 pm.

Spring Hill and Hope High School Advisers, Shane Plyler and Christina Smith, are honored to be able to bring their student members together to work on this event. “This week we’ve been working on getting the animals prepared for show tonight. The students have worked very hard to make sure everything goes well and they’ve enjoyed getting to do it” said Plyler. Smith stated, “We’ve been working with our animals from way back in spring trying our best to help them grow and taking care of them daily to make sure they’re the best they can be for the fair.”

All of the club members seemed excited about the upcoming week and were pleased to meet the guests that attended the coffee. Don’t forget about the premium sale Friday, August 30th, 2019 at the Hope Fair Park Coliseum.
