Hope district set for Oct. 15 meeting

School board to hear updates

The Hope Public School District Board of Trustees will meet in a regularly scheduled session on Monday, October 15, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Highlights of Monday’s agenda, issued Wednesday afternoon, include a report from Superintendent Bobby Hart to including updates on enrollment as of October 12, the ArkansasLeadershipAcademy, the HHS EAST Bicentennial Team project, the Hope Collegiate and Professions Academy and the School-Based Health Clinic.
Gretchen Carlton is scheduled to a presenter for the health clinic update.
There will also be a presentation of several Hope district newsletters, including the CPS Bobcat View, BHE Sept. 2018 Bobcat View, YMS Newsletter with English and Spanish versions, the CATS Sept. Bobcat View, the Bobcat Tracks September 2018, the HHS Bobcat View, and the HAPS Sept. newsletter.
Hart is also scheduled to discuss the ASBA Regional Meeting at DeQueen on November 5.
In other scheduled business, the Board will consider both approval of minutes and approvals of September operating expenses and check register.
The Board will also consider the district’s Fire Alarm contract, CPS Water Heater bids, Curriculum adoption, statement of assurance, and a vehicle salvage bid.
New business will include an ACT 1120 update and restoring a $528 ABC Coordinator Travel Stipend.
