Hope School District Wellness program winners named

Winners of the “Keeping Hope Schools Healthy” drawings from the recent WadleyScan Wellness Initiative in the Hope Public Schools have been named.
HPS faculty, staff and administration participated in the eighth annual health screening program offered by Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas, at Clinton Primary School, Beryl Henry Elementary School, Yerger Middle School, Hope High School and HPS Administration sites.
Winners of certificates redeemable for a free scan next year included: Clinton/ABC Preschool – Renata Bishop; BHE – Darla Irby; YMS/CATS – Vernita Shepard; HHS – Armenda Ross; and Admin./HAPS – Portia Jones.
Tailgater’s Restaurant also awarded $20 gift certificates for meals to Donna Glanton at CPS/ABC; Stephanie Smelley at BHE; Nancy Bradford at YMS/CATS; Lt. Col. (Ret.) Mark Hart at HHS; and Bonnie Stubber at Admin./HAPS, according to Renee Sells, RN, District Nurse.
