Hope Water & Light’s Community Coffee

The Hope Chamber of Commerce Community Coffee was hosted this morning by local company, Hope Water & Light. Known to be one of the biggest coffee hosting’s of the year, a crowd of civilians, business owners and city officials showed up to support HW&L as they celebrated Public Power Week.
Public Power Week is an annual celebration by over 2,000 public power utility companies, such as HW&L. This week celebrated “not-for-profit” electric utilities that proudly serve the electric needs of around 49 million American citizens.
At the coffee a buffet of shrimp, rolls, ham, dips, desserts, punch and much more was catered to the event by Sheba’s Family Restaurant. HW&L officials were very humbled by the amount of citizens that visited this morning and is excited to move forward being such a big part of the Hope community.
