Hope’s Calvary Baptist Church is hosting a Prayer Conference on Saturday, March 23, at its Hope facility at 1301 West Avenue B, according to Brother Gary Johnson in a special announcement Thursday morning.
The keynote speaker for the conference will be Bill Elliff, the well-known pastor of The Summit Church in Little Rock and a respected authority on the subject of prayer.
“Brother Elliff will be teaching on how to have a good prayer life, and at times in the program, will lead those in attendance in guided prayer,” Johnson said, “Those who come to this conference will know it was time well spent.”
Johnson added that a ‘free’ catered lunch featuring beef brisket and grilled chicken, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, with apple and peach cobbler will be served to all.
Johnson said there is no cost to come to the conference, however, a love offering will be collected for Bro. Elliff.
For those interested in attending, Johnson said the deadline to sign-up is this Sunday (March 17), and he can be contacted at 870-331-7341.
