How to Be Healthier When You Work from Home

If you’re still working from home in the new year, here are some tips to keep your mind and body healthy and increase productivity.

  1. Dedicate a Workspace
    Although it’s tempting to work from your bed or the couch, be sure to set firm boundaries. Dedicate one workspace where you’ll spend most of your day to focus on work.
  2. Get Up and Move
    Set an alarm to take regular breaks and focus on active stretching for your lower and upper back.
  3. Establish a Routine
    Plan to start work at the same time every day, if possible. It may be helpful to use a signal, like an alarm clock, to start your day.
  4. Know When to Log Off
    It’s important to maintain a good work-life balance, especially since your work is now home with you all day.
