Wilbert Johnson, 31, of Hope, AR
On September 16, 2019 at approximately 10:45 a.m., officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Wilber Johnson Jr., 31, of Hope, and charged him with kidnapping, battery in the 2^nd degree, terroristic threatening in the 1^st degree, possession of firearms by certain persons, and engaging in violent criminal group activity.   The arrest was made with a warrant for an incident that occurred on August 29, 2019. Johnson was brought to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On September 19, 2019 at approximately 1:50 p.m., officers of the Hope Police Department and arrested Marquilla Harris, 23, of Hope, AR  and charged her with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, and served a failure to appear warrant.  Harris was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
