Hutson exhibit opening draws big crowd Monday

The art – drawings, paintings and furniture – produced by Hope’s Alex Hutson drew a record crowd of members and guests for the opening gallery exhibit of 2019 by the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council. Almost 200 people attended the exhibit, which runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (except when posted) weekdays through January 25.
Alex Hutson and the painting being raddled by the arts council at $5 a ticket or six tickets for $20. The painting is on display at the Arts Station at 200 East Division.
