The Hempstead County Pageant was held this evening at the Fair Park Coliseum with 17 contestants competing in several categories for eight sashes that ranged from Miss Baby Hempstead County for 0 to 11-month-olds to Miss Hempstead County for those between ages 19 and 23.

The results were as follows:

Miss Baby Hempstead County: Clara Powell

Miss Toddler Hempstead County: Greyll Jones. Best-dressed toddler and first runner-up: Brynlee Preston. Most Photogenic toddler and second runner-up: Kinsley Lawson.

Miss Little Hempstead County, Best-dressed, Most Photogenic: Reagan Preston. First runner-up: Piper Burns. Second runner-up Gracie Pioterek.

Miss Petite Hempstead County, Best-dressed, Most Photogenic: Makinlee Crane. First runner-up: Annison Moten.

Young Miss Hempstead County, Best-dressed, Most Photogenic: Kenzi Burns. First runner-up: Alexis Parker.

Miss Teen Hempstead County, Best-dressed, Most Photogenic: Jade Joy.

Junior Miss Hempstead County, Best Interview, Best-dressed, Most Photogenic: Adison Miley.

Miss Hempstead County, Best-dressed: Raeli Putman. First runner-up, Best Interview, Most Photogenic: Darci Clayton.

After winning Miss Hempstead County, Raeli Putman said, "I honestly did not expect that. That was my cousin [as First runner-up.] So it was very fun competing with her. I had a great time. And I definitely would recommend for more people to sign up. But I am so excited to have this opportunity to be Miss Hempstead County, and I can't wait for all the great things and try to be a row role model for all the younger girls."
