Through the Hempstead Guarantee Scholarship, the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana offers graduates from Hempstead County high schools a scholarship to attend UAHT at no cost for their first year. The scholarship will provide funds to pay tuition, fees, and book rental costs beyond the financial aid for which students qualify in their first year after high school graduation. The deadlines for completing the scholarship application are approaching fast. Essential dates for completing the application are listed below.
Next Steps:
- Complete the State of Arkansas Scholarship application at https://sams.adhe.edu/ by May 1.
- Graduate from a high school in Hempstead County, Arkansas, in 2025.
- Complete the FAFSA application at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa and submit all financial aid documents by May 31.
- Enroll in at least 12 credit hours at UAHT for the fall semester by June 30.
