Save the date! October 19 is the Annual Conference of the Arkansas Genealogical Society.
This year’s conference is a Zoom webinar featuring speaker Cyndi Ingle. The public is invited
to attend online or join the Nevada County Depot Museum for group watch at the 1912
Missouri Pacific Depot in historic downtown Prescott, Arkansas. The conference begins at 9
a.m. and continues at 4 p.m. with a lunch break at 11:30 a.m. during which participants can
dine on their own at any of Prescott’s great restaurants. Museum doors open at 8:30 a.m. and
light refreshments will be served during the morning session.
The keynote speaker for the conference will be Cyndi Ingle, professional genealogist, author,
and founder of the massive genealogy resource site, Cyndi’s List.
“I’m personally excited to hear Cyndi Ingle during the conference,” said Depot Museum
director, Jamie Simmons. “The knowledge and experience she brings to the table is
extraordinary. This will be particularly useful to those just getting into genealogy.”
