FAYETTEVILLE -- Arkansas had four players who heard their names called in the 2026 NFL Draft including cornerback Julian Neal going to the Seattle Seahawks in Round 3 with the No. 99-overall pick.
On Saturday, three more Razorbacks were drafted. Running back Mike Washington Jr. was taken in Round 4 with the No. 122-overall pick by the Las Vegas Raiders. The next pick was offensive guard Fernando Carmona to the Tennessee Titans in Round 5 at No. 142. The final Razorback drafted was quarterback Taylen Green to the Cleveland Browns with the first pick of Round 6 and No. 152.
Neal, 6-2, 203, in his lone season with Arkansas he finished with 55 tackles, 32 solo, two for loss, a pair of interceptions and broke up 10 passes. Neal recorded a 4.49 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine. Neal spoke to Seahawks.com's John Boyle following the draft.
"I'm the most physical corner in this draft class," Neal said. "I use my arms to my advantage, I use my length, I use my availability. I've never gotten hurt; I've never missed a game in college from being hurt. I come down and I hit something. I'm going to go up and get the ball, I'm getting interceptions, I'm pressing dudes at the line, I'm locking dudes up at the line. It's box time."
Neal met with Seattle assistant head coach Leslie Neal at the Combine. Neal left that meeting thinking he would be a Seahawk.
"It wasn't a surprise at all," Neal said. "After that meeting at the combine, Les, the assistant head coach told me, 'You're most likely going to get picked by the Seahawks, Julian Neal.' He told me that to my face. I believed him, and they believed in me."
When the shipment of hats didn't arrive as expected, Neal scrambled to get one though he didn't want to buy all 32. Instead he only got one.
"This was the only hat I bought, this was truly the only hat I bought," he said. "… I wasn't going to buy all 32. I said, 'Auntie, go get me a Seahawks hat.' I promise you, and it's crazy it happened."
Washington, 6-1, 223, ran a 4.33 at the NFL Scouting Combine. In his lone season with the Razorbacks, Washington rushed 167 times for 1,070 yards and eight touchdowns. He also had 28 receptions for 226 yards and a touchdown.
The Raiders traded up to No. 122, sending picks 134 (Round 4) and 208 (Round 6) to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange.
Carmona played two seasons with the Razorbacks. He spent the 2024 season at left tackle but moved inside to left guard in 2025. Carmona, 6-5, 316, became the first Razorback drafted by the Tennessee Titans since taking wide receiver Treylon Burks in Round 1 during the 2022 draft.
Carmona was a two-time All-SEC selection, earning third-team honors as a left tackle in 2024 before picking up second-team recognition as a left guard last season. He helped pave the way for six games of 500+ yards of total offense in 2025. The Las Vegas native began his career at San Jose State and started all 49 games in his college career.
Green, 6-6, 227, was timed at 4.36 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine. He played at Arkansas for two seasons after transferring in from Boise State. In 2025, Green completed 198 of 326 passes for 2,714 yards, 19 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also was second on the team in rushing with 139 carries for 777 yards and eight touchdowns.
Green is the first Arkansas quarterback drafted since Brandon Allen went to Jacksonville in 2016. The Browns were excited to get Green.
"With Taylen specifically – very mature young man, really strong makeup, and he has rare physical gifts," Executive Vice President of Football Operations and General Manager Andrew Berry said. "He has size, he has elite speed, he has a big arm. He's going to need some polish with this game, but he has the work ethic and he has the acumen to do so. So we're looking forward to adding him to the roster and adding him to the mix in terms of competition."
Among the Razorbacks known to have signed undrafted free agent deals after the draft are tight end Rohan Jones with the Los Angeles Rams, defensive tackle Cam Ball and wide receiver Raylen Sharpe to the Indianapolis Colts, cornerback Kani Walker to Buffalo Bills, offensive tackle Corey Robinson II to Cincinnati Bengals and linebacker Xavian Sorey Jr. inking with the Las Vegas Raiders.
