LONOKE, Ark. — On Sunday, June 2, 2024, at approximately 12:19 p.m., Arkansas State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2023 Mercedes Sprinter Van on Interstate 40 Eastbound near mile marker 164 in Lonoke County.

Troopers uncovered two wooden crates containing a total of 120 one-pound, vacuum-sealed bags of illegal marijuana. Troopers also discovered and confiscated a handgun, multiple magazines, and ammunition.

The driver, Brian High, 55, from Townsend, Delaware, was arrested and taken to the Lonoke County Detention Center. He faces felony charges that include Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
