May 28, 2025, Hope, Arkansas, Hempstead County Extension Services will partner with the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council in offering an “Intro to Barn Quilt” Workshop on Thursday, June 26, 2025.    The workshop will take place from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM at the Arts Station located at 200 E Division Street in downtown Hope.  The cost for this workshop is $15.00 per participant. 

Terri James, County Extension Agent, shared, "This workshop will allow participants the opportunity to learn about creating Barn Quilts and to have the opportunity to paint their own one-foot sample barn quilt block that can be placed on the Arkansas Barn Quilt Trail."
