Spring Hill- The Bears hosted the Lions on Thursday night before the break and Mason Moore spun a gem, allowing just 1 hit in 5 innings and struck out 4 batters. The defense was nails behind him and the offense put up crooked numbers in every inning but one, on their way to a 13-0 win over Horatio.
Spring Hill banged out 8 hits and drew 8 walks, as they lived on the bases all game. Moore, Karson Hamilton, and Andrew Carillo each had multi-hit games. Both Hamilton and Carillo each smashed a pair of doubles, and Moore added a single and a double. Hamilton led the team with 4 RBI, with both Carillo and Moore finishing the game with 2 RBI each. Reed Fisher and Maddox Dickson each had singles and Dickson added a pair of RBI. Jackson Putz and Jaxon Smith each reached base safely twice and scored 2 runs.
Spring Hill is back in action next week in a tournament.
