Blevins celebrates Fourth of July with fireworks show
The town of Blevins displayed its patriotic pride this evening with its annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration which was held at the Blevins school campus.  The event was hosted by the Blevins Volunteer Fire Department, who put on a dazzling display of fireworks for local families to enjoy, and Word of Faith  provided a free hotdog supper for the community before the main event.

The organizers did not disappoint. Many youth could be seen staring at the sky, their happy faces lit up by both the radiant light show and the glee of participating in this fun family event. And, as always, when the show came to its conclusion and parents paraded the little ones back to their vehicles, passersby could hear the exuberant chatter that can only come from children who have truly had a joyous time. One particular tyke could be heard exclaiming, “I can’t wait till next year!”
