Blue Jays Beat DeQueen 69-46
DeQueen- Nevada (6-0) hit the road on Friday night and headed to 4A DeQueen for a non-conference game. The Blue Jays were trailing 15-11 in the opening quarter, but then went on a massive 26-5 run to finish the 1st half and take control of the game. 

Nevada started off the 2nd half exactly how they ended the first half, on a 15-2 run. Nevada's lead reached 30 in the 3rd quarter and they cruised to a 69-46 win. "We played very well for about a 12 minute stretch when we went on that run, if we can consistently play at that level we can achieve the goals that we have set for ourselves ," Coach Eddie Beck said on his teams road win over DeQueen. 

Kobe Hughey led the Jays in scoring with 24 points. Hughey also added 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Keyonte Wingfield poured in 18 points, 4 assists, 4 boards, and 4 steals, as the senior continues to display a winning brand of basketball  . Taco Roberson added in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Monti Mixon scored 6 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, and answered the bell defensively, locking down the Leopards best player, limiting him to just 7 points, as he finished the night with 3 blocks and 2 steals. Rico Aparicio and Tre King each knocked down a 3, and Hurk Burns had 2 points. 

Nevada is back on the court Tuesday in Spring Hill for a non-conference game with the Bears.
