Blue Jays Finish Regular Season with Win at Emerson
Emerson- The Blue Jays hit the road to Emerson on Friday night for their final tune-up before the District Tournament this upcoming week. Nevada got out running early and pulled away for an 86-56 win over the Pirates. 

With the win, the Jays are headed to the District Tournament as the #2 seed and have secured a spot in the regional tournament the next week in Emerson. 

Five Blue Jays were in double-figures, as the scoring was very balanced, with sophomore Monti Mixon leading the way as he continued his great play on Friday with another double-double, scoring 19 and grabbing 12 boards. 

Rico Aparicio came out of the gates on fire, scoring all 15 of his points in the first quarter. Kobe Hughey scored 12 and added four assists and four boards. Keyonte Wingfield scored 11, dished out a game-high nine assists, and grabbed six rebounds. Taco Roberson extended his streak of games in double-figures with 10 points and seven boards. Colton Burns scored six, Kyle Jackson scored four, Hurk Burns knocked down a three, and both D2 and Jordyn Harris each scored two. 

The Jays await the winner of the Kirby vs Umpire/Oden Game.
