Blue Jays Improve to 2-0 with Win Over Bradley
Nevada- The Blue Jays (2-0) poured in 22 points in the opening quarter to take an 11-point lead in the first quarter behind some early shooting, including a pair of 3's from Rico Aparicio Tuesday night. Bradley would fight and stick around, as the Blue Jays could not put the Bears away early. "We got going slow today, we didn't play great defense early we gave up too many offensive rebounds, we know we were the better team and we finally got it going," Kobe Hughey said after the Blue Jays win.

Nevada finally started forcing some turnovers and got some transition points towards the end of the 3rd quarter, as they ran the deficit up to 28 points, on their way to a 72-44 win. "It's always good to beat Bradley, sort of a rivalry for us, we didn't have a strong start but we kept the pressure on them and we pulled away late," Coach Beck said at Waffle House after the game.
