The Bobcats took the lead in the first half on a penalty kick from Aniell Felipe. Felipe would find the back of the net again on a brilliant pass from Elliot Vasquez, as the freshman got his first ever assist at the high school level. Aniell starts his senior season off on a great note, scoring two goals for the Bobcats. 

Great defense and ball control, especially around the mid-field, helped lead Hope to a big road win to start the year. The Bobcats are back in action on Monday as they host Lake Hamilton.
