Bobcats Continue to Impress, Beat Nashville 2-0 to Remain Undefeated in Conference
Nashville- The Bobcats hit the road on Tuesday and headed north for a conference showdown with Nashville. Elliott Vazquez got the Bobcats on the scoreboard in the first half with a PK, as Hope led 1-0 at the half. Early in the second half, Johnathan Hernandez found the back of the net to give Hope a 2-0 lead and that was all Jacob Pacheco and the defense would need, as the Bobcats continue to impress, giving Nashville their first loss in league play 2-0.

"Feels great to be back out here. We fought tonight, we played good and did our job and got the dub, our goal keeper has been saving us all season; we're lucky to have him," Dylan Mercado said after the win.

GK Jacob Pacheco and the Bobcats' defense continue to show why they are at the top of the best defenses in the state. The number zero means something to this group as the number of goals their conference opponents have scored this season. Three clean sheets in a row to start league play. After the win, Jacob Pacheco said, "Feels great. It was a dog fight. We were able to pull through, big win. We're just wanting to set ourselves up for success this season."

Defenders like Gio Ruiz, Dylan Mercado, Soyne Munoz, Yair Munoz, Gio Piza, Emir Barrientos, and Eddy Francisco have all been massive contributors to the success of this squad this season. The attitude this group attacks each game with is why they are the best defense in 4A.

You can find the Bobcats back on the pitch Thursday night as they host Magnolia. Come out and support this team, buy some popcorn, and enjoy the show.
