After a struggling opening half for the Bobcats attack, the Bobcats came out in the second half and got going with a banger free-kick goal from Lucas Sanchez to give Hope a 1-0 lead with 28 minutes remaining in the game. Lucas would score again on a great shot to extend the Hope lead to 2-0. Lalo Leyva would get in on the action, scoring the third goal of the night for Hope and putting the nail in the coffin of any chance at a comeback for the visiting team.
Gio Ruiz spoke after the game on the Bobcats 3-0 win, "They played hard tonight, it was a rough game, but we had Lucas and Lalo show up and get some goals for us in the second half and got the win."
Hope is back on the pitch after the break on March 31st in Nashville, as they will look to improve to 3-0 in league play.
