Supervisor Amber Goodrum said, “Bright Beginnings Development Academy has various programs to serve the children and families of Nevada County. The Early Intervention Day Treatment program serves qualifying children with developmental delays and/or disabilities. We also offer the Arkansas Better Chance (ABC) preschool program and the School Readiness Assistance program (formally known as the Voucher Daycare program). We have in-house Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapies for children with those needs. We currently serve around 70 children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.” 

Bright Beginnings has  almost 20 staff members led by Mrs, Carol Scott, Director of Children’s Services for PNC, Inc. and Rainbow of Challenges; Ms. Tina Jenkins, Site Supervisor; Mrs. Amber Goodrum, Early Childhood Developmental Specialist; and Ms. LeeAnn Small, Program Manager.
