Join us at the Nevada County Extension Office, 877 E Main in Prescott, Arkansas, for a
practical, history‑inspired evening that sends you home ready to cook with confidence.
Participants will learn how to stock a Cook's Box! This engaging evening program explores what
pioneer families kept in their pantries and shows participants how to translate those timeless
essentials into a modern, ready‑to‑use Cook’s Box.
“A well-organized pantry keeps essential ingredients on hand, reduces meal-time stress, saves
money,” said presenter Sheila Ballard, “This helps families prepare quick, nutritious meals with
ease at home or away on a camping adventure.”
The cost is $11 per person, and all supplies are provided. Registration is required, and seating
is limited. Deadline to register is March 24. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a home cook, or
someone who loves being prepared, this workshop offers a fun and useful way to bring heritage
into everyday life.
