Bobcats QB Trey Hoglund found Jaiden Brown for a TD to get the scoring going on the opening drive of the game to give Hope a 7-0 lead. Prescott RB K.J. Page found the endzone for the first of his game-high 4 TDs to bring the game to 7-6 after a failed PAT.
Joel Bello had a scoop-and-score for Hope to give Hope a 14-6 lead in the second quarter. KJ Page would run another TD in for Prescott and then a sweet 2pt conversion by the Curley Wolves knotted the game at 14-14 at the half.
KJ Page would then find the endzone two more times for Prescott, as the Wolves had a 28-14 lead heading into the final quarter. Hope continued to fight, as Tre Gomer found the endzone to bring the Bocbats within 8 points. Prescott made a play and got the ball late and a big throw on 3rd down from QB Dalton Stockton iced the game 28-20 in favor of Prescott, as they improved to 2-1 on the season.
KJ Page finished the game with 204 yards and 4 TDs. Kayden Gleason picked up 38 yards on the ground, and Dalton Stockton threw for 85 yards and caught the 2pt conversion for Prescott on a ball from Rhett Cornish. Wes Cornilius had 45 yards recieving, Owen Glass had 25 yards receiving and 3 yards rushing. Amario Monk had a total of 22 yards.
For the Bobcats, Trey Gomer finished the game with 98 yards rushing and a TD. Trey Hoglund threw for 89 yards and 1 TD, with Jaiden Brown caught a TD with 41 yards receiving on 4 catches. The TD was Brown's 6th TD in 3 games. Braylin Smith had a 30 yard catch. Joel Bello was all over the field for Hope defensively, with 12 tackles and a defensive TD. JJ Gulley had 13 tackles. Kelson White and Cayden Haywood each had 11 tackles, with Haywood adding a sack. Xavier Fields had a sack and 6 tackles.
Prescott is on the road next week for their conference opener in Fouke. The Bobcats will host DeQueen for Homecoming in their conference opener.
