Alert: | FLOOD ADVISORY ISSUED JANUARY 23 AT 4:06PM CST UNTIL JANUARY 23 AT 7:15PM CST
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Arkansas, including the following counties, Hempstead, Little River, Miller and Nevada.
* WHEN...Until 715 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 406 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hope, Prescott, Emmet, Blevins, Perrytown, Rosston, Fulton, Washington, Bodcaw, McCaskill, Ozan, Cale, McNab, Oakhaven, Sutton, Laneburg, Mount Moriah, Morris and Homan.
