Garrett Memorial Christian School Honors the Class of 2026

Garrett Memorial Christian School bid a fond farewell to the Class of 2026 during their graduation ceremony last night. Despite its small size, the class of four young women made a significant impact, securing $136,954 in scholarship awards. Administrator Christi Zumwalt praised the class for their academic achievements and their commitment to their faith.

Co-valedictorians Adalyn Peek and Baylee Pogue shared memories of their time in the halls of GMCS, emphasizing that their identity is found in their character and their walk with God rather than their high school accolades. Guest speaker Dr. Jeremy Langley, President of Central Baptist College, reinforced this message, urging the graduates to build their future on a foundation of truth and faith as they enter a new season of independence.

The ceremony also included a moving rose presentation, where seniors honored their parents and family members for their unwavering support.

As they move forward to college and beyond, the GMCS Class of 2026 carries with them the school's legacy of excellence and a firm foundation for the future.
