E.O. 25-13: AN EXECUTIVE ORDER TO PROVIDE FUNDING FROM THE HAZARD MITIGATION DISASTER FUND

WHEREAS: An effective program for mitigating the effects of future disasters upon local governments is essential to the efficient and orderly operation of state business; and

WHEREAS: Mitigation measures to prevent future damage to public facilities are necessary to ensure the welfare of the citizens of the State of Arkansas.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SARAH HUCKABEE SANDERS, acting under the authority vested in me as Governor of the State of Arkansas, and pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 12-75-101, et. seq., as amended, do hereby authorize the use of Hazard Mitigation funds in the amount of six million dollars ($6,000,000) to implement approved mitigation projects within the state.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Arkansas to be affixed this 22nd day of August, in the year of our Lord 2025.
