LITTLE ROCK, Ark.
— Today, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders filed the official paperwork for her 2026 re-election with the Republican Party of Arkansas and the Arkansas Secretary of State's office.
"I ran for Governor because I was tired of seeing Arkansas ranked at the bottom, when I knew we had the ability to compete at the top - and I promised bold, conservative reforms to take us there," Governor Sanders said. "After almost three great years in office, I am proud to say we are well on our way. We have empowered parents in their child's education, cut the income tax by 20%, locked up violent criminals, and stood with President Trump in the fight against the Radical Left's woke agenda.
"But we are just getting started. Over the remaining year of my first term, and in the four years of my second term, we will continue to work each day to take Arkansas to the top and ensure our state is the best place to live, work, and raise a family. I am asking each Arkansan for their vote next year, and I would be honored to continue serving as the Governor of the greatest state in the nation."
The Sarah for Governor campaign previously reported having $5.5 million cash-on-hand at the end of September 2025 for the re-election campaign.
