Hempstead County Courthouse, Road Department, and Waste Department will close on Monday, May 25, 2026 to observe Memorial Day.  We will reopen during regular working hours on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Trash route for Hempstead County for Monday, May 25, 2026 and Tuesday, May 26, 2026, will be collected on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.  Please have it out by 7:00 AM.
